Dorene Adams has joined Karen Kelly Yoga and will be instructing on Tuesday nights at Ledgewood Creek Winery. Dorene holds a master’s degree in nursing , and is currently a professor of anatomy and physiology at Solano College. As a certified Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance, and her vast knowledge of body mechanics, this is a class that is not to be missed!!! This is a perfect class for beginners and those wanting to just “feel better.”

April 21, 2012 - Pre-Jubilee Poker Run Final Stop

The Jubilee Poker Run, was held on April 21, and concluded at Ledgewood Creek in Suisun Valley. Food, music, dance contest, raffle prizes, and wine - it was a spectacular afternoon!

Two of the radio station's popular DJs, John Young and Don Potter of the "Hometown Morning Show" participated in the ride. John Young and his band, "Pushback," performed all afternoon in the hot, hot sun at Ledgewood Creek Winery.

PASSPORT Sunday!

This traditional, spring event showcases the wines of Suisun Valley to all types of wine enthusiasts. Attendees travel from one winery to the next, tasting Suisun Valley wines and collecting stamps on their passports. Each of the approximate 10 wineries presents a unique story and winetasting, all paired with local foods. Some local farmers also join by showcasing their products at some of the participating wineries, such as local olive oils, jams, dried fruits and nuts.

The event runs from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Suisun Valley’s winemakers are approachable and down-to-earth and love sharing stories about how they craft their wines. Expect to find them pouring behind the bar or from a barrel in their cellar. Don’t be surprised if you run into old friends at all your favorite spots.

Ledgewood featured Chef James Aptakin, Food Network contest winner. Chef James is opening a new catering business and restaurant in downtown Fairfield, Layers of Flavor, and shred his new line of specialty sauces and some favorite creations. January 2 - February 9 - Yoga on the Vine

“Yoga on the Vine” is taught by certified yoga instructor, Karen Kelly. This eight week course is designed for those wanting to experience yoga for the first time and experienced students.

Yoga, developed in India, has been practiced for over 5,000 years. Its health benefits are currently enjoyed by close to 11 million Americans. Instructor, Karen Kelly, brings 12 years of experience and advanced training from all over the world, including India, to Ledgewood Creek Winery. Space is limited to 25 students.
