| We make a California-style Cabernet Sauvignon that is high in fruit and has a rich flavor. We highlight the wine's concentration, strong fruit and well developed flavors. The dark fruit aromas show black plums and cherries along with some dark toast character from wood aging. The initial flavor is a burst of fruit followed by a mouth-filling flavor and gentle finish of fine grain tannins. More Details |

2006 GSM - GOLD MEDAL WINNER |
| In 2006 our GSM is incredibly fresh, spicy and even racier than prior vintages. Hints of vanilla tease the nose and enhance the wine’s aromatic, toasty oak character. Curiously, it also exhibits a distinct dusty road character. The dark color of Syrah and its balanced tannins showcase the complexity of this wine while the Mourvedrè is remarkable in its contribution to fruitiness and mouth-filling flavor. Overall the wine is high in red fruit by nose – raspberries, red currant and cassis and there is a continuum of harmony from the first taste of pure fruit to the full flavor that is balanced by the wine’s acid and tannin levels. As our vines mature and the wine ages this wine’s poise is more and more striking. There just aren’t any jagged edges.

2006 Merlot - DOUBLE GOLD |
| The 2006 vintage is yet another elegant Merlot within our estate range of wines. The wine opens with a strong scent of raspberries and vanilla and seemlessly followed by emerging scents of toasty oak, red plums, tobacco and coffee. And for me, the real joy of this wine is in its' flavor. Beginning with an impressive array of fruit, this wine's flavor widens through the mid-palette and finish Tannins are firm but have a fine grain, smooth feel. The balance of aroma, fruit flavor, tannin, and moderate acidity make this a classic food wine.
